fatigue materials is an improvisational and collaborative project, testing alternative ways of supporting, resisting and relating. Using found and repurposed construction waste, the artists explore the links between their everyday material environment and their embodied emotional patterns to confront their broader lived experiences of trauma, disability, queerness and colonial-capitalism. These precarious structures describe dynamics of fragility, stabilisation and insecurity. Hands-on making offers an embodied way to respond to the immobilisation induced by Western socio-political prescriptions.
